Six victims were listed as critically ill by the paramedics who responded to the scene. They went on to say that the scene was chaotic, with individuals lying unconscious on the surrounding road and broken glass all over the place.
“I was on the bus. According to a Times of Israel article, a woman aboard the bus informed local media, “The bus was packed,” as she described the terrifying moments of the occurrence.
Terrorists arrived as soon as [the driver] opened the door. It was awful. She said, “I was by the back door, I fell on everyone, and I escaped, saving myself.”
According to reports, the woman hid beneath another car nearby until the terrorists were neutralised and the gunfire ceased.
“There was more gunfire than you could have imagined.” It’s unbelievable that I’m standing here. “Unfathomable gunfire,” she said.
Itamar Ben Gvir, Israel’s national security minister, hurried to the scene of the crime and is currently examining the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
Assistant Commissioner Shlomi Bachar of the Zion Region told local media, “(Police are) currently trying to understand how they [the terrorists] got here, who brought them, and I believe that within a short time we will reach everyone who is involved.”
