Chargesheet for Durgapur medical student rape suggests a questionable role for a classmate

The victim also mentioned how the five men surrounded the girl’s classmate, who then ran away. This has raised suspicions. The victim’s father accused the classmate of being involved in the case and filed a complaint against him.

In addition, the investigative team is looking into why the classmate ran away, putting the girl in danger, and why he failed to notify the police or his buddies when the guys pulled the girl away.

Police have already made four arrests in this matter, including the arrest of another individual. Another individual is being sought. According to the authorities, the classmate is one of six people who are now being watched.

Additionally, the victim’s relatives have called for the child to be moved from West Bengal to her native state of Odisha. “My daughter is in discomfort. She is now bedridden and unable to even walk.
